This plays a vital role in standardization of any formulation. Recently we have installed Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy with which we can ensure all the elements are present in the formulation. We determine Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron etc. More than that we use the instrument to determine heavy metal, which are toxic and are specified in various Pharmacopoeias. Heavy metals like Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium, which are hazardous to health are determined and eliminated in all our formulations.
