PHYTOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY

The plant constituents that are responsible for medicinal and therapeutic property of the drug are usually secondary metabolites. A systematic study of the crude drug embraces thorough consideration of primary and secondary metabolites. So here we studied these extracts for extensive screening on the following lines:
Quantitative Phytochemical Screening Qualitative Phytochemical Screening Chromatography
For the class of secondary metabolites like Alkaloids, Glycosides, Tannins, Volatile oils, Fixed oils, Coumarins, Flavonoids etc. We do Qualitative and Quantitative Screening of the Extracts as per following methods.
