How To Care Your Skin With Herbs

Some of you may have started experiencing frequent flare-ups and break outs on your skin. This is because of the scorching summer, which has just started, and is going to last for almost 3 months now. According to Ayurveda, skin problems occur when there is excess build-up of heat in the body. Skin problems can occur during any time of the year, but during summers, the heat related skin disturbances are more common because of the seasonal increase in temperatures.

  • Turmeric

Turmeric is very well known for its properties of giving a natural glow and radiance to the skin.

It has antibacterial and anti-ageing properties. It is widely used in Ayurveda for various skin diseases. Turmeric, the golden herb in your kitchen, works wonders. It reduces blemishes, acne, inflammation, and pigmentation. It slows down the skin ageing process and heals the skin.
